Day 1: Reaching Kibale National Park
  • The first day of the three-day Kibale National Park chimpanzee trekking safari begins at the Entebbe airport. The participants are met by our representative who welcomes them and gives a brief about the tour before departing for Kibale National Park located in western Uganda. This journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours’ drive through Kampala-Mubende road where travelers have en-route lunch in Fort Portal amidst scenic views of the beautiful countryside, traditional homesteads, local people, terraced farmlands, tea and banana plantations, crater lakes among others as well as Rwenzori mountain ranges during this uganda safari. On arrival at Kibale National Park, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days chimpanzee trekking safari in Kibale National Park, participants are picked from their lodge by a driver guide who transfers them to the park headquarters for briefing on rules and regulations regarding chimpanzee tracking. After briefing, travellers are allocated a chimpanzee family to track along with a park guide who is well conversant with trails within forest during this Uganda safari. After lunch, take a fascinating nature walk in Bigodi sanctuary where you will be able to see various primates like black and white colobus monkeys,L’Hoest’s monkey ,red-tailed monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey as well as mammals such bushbucks,sitatunga among many others not forgetting different bird species such great blue turaco,green-breasted pitta,papyrus gonolek colorful butterflies during this uganda safari . Later drive back to the lodge for an evening at leisure, dinner and overnight.

On the last day of the 3 days chimpanzee trekking safari in Kibale National Park after having breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet driver guide who transfers you to Kampala. You will have an en-route lunch stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre then continue with journey until when you reach Kampala early evening hours where by if time allows visit some craft shops or markets for souvenirs before being dropped either Entebbe International Airport catch up departure flight or any other advised place according interest while on safari in Uganda.
